Position Overview

As a DevOps / DevSecOps - Founding Engineer at Meetsta, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing our infrastructure and security practices. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using best practices in security and scalability.
• Automate deployment pipelines and operational processes using CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to review and enhance application security throughout the development lifecycle.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system functionality.
• Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) with tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on security practices and toolsets.
• Collaborate with product management to define technical requirements and timelines.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and support troubleshooting escalated incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps roles, with a proven track record.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Java.
• Solid understanding of container orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of security best practices and tools in a DevOps environment.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
