Job Overview

As a DevOps / DevSecOps - Founding Engineer at Meetsta, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the infrastructure and development processes of our organization from the ground up. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment processes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configurations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Integrate security practices into the DevOps lifecycle to enhance the security posture of applications and infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operational teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
• Establish best practices for version control, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
• Participate in code reviews and mentoring of junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and methodologies to continuously enhance DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or related engineering roles.
• Proficiency with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with security best practices and tools in cloud environments.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.

In this position, you will primarily utilize a range of modern technologies and tools including, but not limited to, AWS for cloud services, Kubernetes for container orchestration, Docker for containerization, Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, Jenkins or GitLab CI for continuous integration and deployment, and various security solutions to monitor vulnerabilities and enhance the security framework of our systems.
