Job Overview

As a Founding Engineer specializing in DevOps / DevSecOps at Meetsta, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our infrastructure and operational processes from the ground up. Your primary focus will be to implement and manage the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring we maintain a high level of security and operational efficiency throughout the software development lifecycle. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices for integration, testing, and deployment are followed.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security by implementing monitoring and logging solutions.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and implement appropriate security measures across the infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot issues across the development and production environments with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation for all processes and systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve our processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps roles, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or Ruby) for automation and configuration management.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
• Understanding of network protocols, and security best practices related to cloud and on-premises environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to quality and security.

Technologies & Tools

In this role, you will be working with a blend of modern technologies and tools that include cloud services (AWS, Azure), containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), configuration management (Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and security tools (Snyk, Aqua Security).
