Overview

As a Junior Site Reliability Engineer at Patterned Learning Career, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the overall health and performance of our systems. Job Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement reliability best practices and tools.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents as needed.
• Document processes and configurations to maintain knowledge sharing within the team.
• Automate regular operational tasks and configuration management to improve efficiency.
• Assist in capacity planning and performance tuning of applications and systems.
• Conduct post-incident reviews and collaborate on continual service improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or a similar area.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
