We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Software Engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to join our remote team at Smoothstack. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI/ML algorithms and frameworks to enhance product capabilities.
• Collaborate with product management and data science teams to define and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop production-ready code, ensuring robust performance, reliability, and scalability of AI/ML applications.
• Conduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Maintain and optimize existing AI/ML systems while identifying opportunities for performance improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on AI/ML applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
