Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage site reliability initiatives to enhance system performance and availability.
• Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address issues before they impact users.
• Automate manual processes using scripting and configuration management tools to reduce overhead and increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams on software releases, ensuring smooth deployment and rollback procedures.
• Perform capacity planning and management to align infrastructure needs with application growth.
• Conduct incident management and post-mortem analyses to resolve outages and improve system resiliency.
• Maintain documentation related to system architecture, operational processes, and automated solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Go, Bash, etc.).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios) and logging frameworks (e.g., ELK Stack).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices for software development processes.
