Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Jobareer ("we," "us," or "our") for your use of jobareer.com, the Jobareer phone app, the Jobareer browser extension and the services in them. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The Service

Jobareer emails you new job listings that match the job alerts you set up. It also helps you apply: it stores your resumes, fills in application forms (Auto Apply), keeps track of the jobs you have applied to, and answers questions about your job search.

Job listings come from third-party websites and employers. We do not write them, we are not the employer, and applying happens on the third party's site. We cannot promise that a listing is accurate, still open, or genuine, or that using Jobareer will lead to an interview or a job. Salary ranges and job summaries shown on the site may be estimates produced by software, including AI, and can be wrong. Information we publish about unemployment benefits and other government services is read from the agency's own website and may be out of date: the agency decides your claim, not us.

2. Your Account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• Give us an email address you control, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One account per person. Accounts are for your own job search and may not be shared or resold.

3. Subscriptions and Payment

• Some features need a paid plan. The plans and prices are on our pricing page.
• Payment is taken by Stripe. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price then in effect, until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from Billing in your dashboard, or by emailing [email protected] from the address on your account. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew.
• A plan bought in the Jobareer phone app is sold and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it in your phone's subscription settings at least 24 hours before the period ends, and Apple's or Google's rules decide refunds.
• Refunds for plans bought on this website are covered by our Refund Policy.
• A plan we give you through a gift link costs nothing, lasts for the time stated on the link and then becomes the free plan. We may change or end a gifted plan at any time.
• We may change prices. We will tell you by email before a new price applies to your next renewal.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, or republish the listings or other content of the site in bulk;
• use the site to send spam or to collect information about other people;
• upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to share;
• try to break, overload, or get around the security or plan limits of the site;
• use a script, bot or other automated means to sign up, to use the site's tools, or to make more than one account;
• use the Career Coach or our other AI tools for anything but your own job search.

Fair Use of AI Features

The Career Coach, Resume Reading, Resume Improvement, Add a Skill, Referral Messages, Application Answers and the free writing tools are answered by an AI model, and each answer costs us money. They are there to help with your own job search. A free account gets a set number of uses, which it can use once its email address is confirmed. Paid plans can use them as often as a person looking for work does, up to a daily limit; we tell you when you reach it, and we may change the limits. An AI answer can be wrong: check anything that matters before you act on it. If an account uses these features in a way that looks automated or has nothing to do with a job search, we may limit it or close it.

Auto Apply

Auto Apply fills in an employer's application form with your profile, your resume and answers you gave before, and can write answers with AI for you to check. Some company job boards can be filled by a browser we run for you on our servers. Applications go out under your name, so:

• Read every answer before it is sent. You are responsible for what you send to an employer, including answers written by AI.
• Nothing is submitted unless you press Submit, or ask Auto Apply to submit that form for you where it offers to.
• Agreements and signatures are always left for you. Questions only you can answer, such as how you heard of the job, are never written by AI: they are left for you unless you answered the same question before.
• On LinkedIn and Indeed it only fills in, after you accept a notice, and never submits for you.
• Each site has its own terms, and using Auto Apply there is your use of that site. We may stop Auto Apply working on any site.

5. Your Content

Your resumes and profile details remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Stories

A story you send us is read by a person before it goes up, and we may shorten it, take out names or decline it. A story must be your own experience and must not contain: anything hateful, harassing, sexual or threatening; anyone's name, contact details or other personal information without their permission; statements about a real person or company that you know are untrue; links, advertising or spam. You can report a story in the app, or email [email protected], and we take down what breaks these rules. By sending a story you give us the permission stated on the form, to publish it on this site, in our videos and in our social media posts.

6. Our Content

The Jobareer name, logo, site design, and software belong to us. The job listings belong to their respective owners.

Copyright Complaints

If you own a listing or other material shown on Jobareer and believe it infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with: the material and where it appears on our site, where the original is, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, and a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or act for the owner. We will remove material that infringes.

7. Ending Your Use

You can stop using Jobareer at any time and delete your account from the bottom of your profile page, in the app's Settings, or from jobareer.com/delete-account. Deleting your account cancels a plan bought on this website; a plan bought in the App Store or on Google Play you cancel there. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

8. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that every alert email will be delivered.

9. Limit of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Jobareer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any decision you make based on a job listing. Our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will email you or post a notice on the site before it takes effect. Using the site after that date means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

Jobareer is operated by DropinAdmin, a company registered in the State of Florida, USA. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about these terms or the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
