Ajara Farm Tools Stores is a growing farm tools and agricultural equipment business based in Samonda, Ibadan. We supply battery sprayers, grass cutters, tillers, soil testers, sprinklers and other farm equipment to farmers and agribusinesses across Nigeria.

Role

We are hiring a full-time, on-site Accountant to manage the day-to-day finances of the business at our office in Samonda, Ibadan.

Responsibilities

• Record daily sales, expenses and payments accurately
• Keep the ledger, cash book and bank reconciliations up to date
• Track stock and the cost of farm tools and equipment
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, and follow up on payments
• Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries for management
• Support budgeting, tax compliance and audits

Requirements

• Minimum of OND in Accounting or a related field (HND/BSc is an advantage)
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, honesty and good organisation
• Good written and spoken communication
• Must live within the Samonda or Iwo Road axis of Ibadan
• Experience in retail, distribution or agricultural products is an advantage

Salary

₦50,000 – ₦80,000 per month, depending on experience.

Work days

Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm.
