About the Opportunity:
The ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE TEAM LEAD is responsible for supporting the daily execution of accounts receivable tasks within an assigned zone by providing operational guidance and reinforcing documented standards. This role helps ensure consistent application of AR processes, timely identification and escalation of issues, and supports team members in resolving workflow questions. - Provide real-time guidance on workflow steps, documentation standards, escalation criteria, and standard operating procedures
- Reinforce documented AR workflows, quality standards, productivity expectations, and escalation paths
- Identify and communicate recurring questions, errors, delays, and workflow trends to leadership
- Escalate risks and repeat issues to supervisors or team leads with context and recommended actions
- Translate audit feedback, quality findings, training updates, and process changes into clear daily expectations
- Support predictable workflow by clarifying leadership priorities and escalation readiness
- Serve as an operational reference for process questions without owning final decisions or performance management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in accounts receivable, revenue cycle, billing, collections, payment posting, denial follow-up, or related operational roles
- Knowledge of AR workflows, documentation standards, quality expectations, and escalation practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment
- Preferred experience as a senior contributor, peer resource, trainer, mentor, or informal lead
- Preferred experience identifying workflow trends, errors, aging risks, or process gaps and communicating them to leadership
- Preferred skills using work queues, productivity reports, audit feedback, or quality data to support execution
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
