Agentic AI Engineer (Consultant)

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Agentic AI Engineer for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in West Conshohocken, PA. Remote working EST hours

Take agentic AI capabilities from working prototype to production, and to build new ones, on the Claude API and Claude Enterprise within a Microsoft 365 and AWS environments. Internal prototypes and Claude skills are already in place at the proof-of-concept level; this role extends, hardens, and operationalizes them.

The begins with a defined initial assignment, full-time for approximately three months. Follow-on assignments, part-time or full-time, may follow depending on results needs.

Report to the Office of the President and will work directly with the product owner and Enterprise Architects. This is a build role, not an advisory one. The consultant contributes to detailed design within established platform decisions and is accountable for delivering working capability at each gate.

Responsibilities:

• Take agentic AI solutions from prototype to production on the Claude API.
• Integrate them with Microsoft 365 and AWS services.
• Adapt and extend Claude-based tools for enterprise use.
• Extend an existing internal capability into production use. The assignment runs in phases, each closing with a gate review.
  
  

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience building production systems with the Claude API: tool use, structured outputs, and evaluation loops.
• MCP server development.
• Python or TypeScript; Git-based workflow with code review.
• Familiarity with Bitbucket and with AWS, including AWS Secrets Manager.
• Comfortable being directed at the level of what to build and what not to build. Scope discipline matters here.
• Able to document clearly and keep documentation current without being asked.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft Graph API and Entra app registrations.
• Power Automate or Azure Logic Apps.
• SharePoint lists and site provisioning.
• Azure Key Vault.
