- Guide architectures supporting the full AI lifecycle, from onboarding tools and datasets through distributed training, model evaluation, deployment, and inference.
- Shape GPU-accelerated environments that meet mission requirements for performance, scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure solutions address classified operations, cross-domain requirements, zero-trust principles, data governance, and applicable security and compliance requirements.
- Partner with engineering and technology leaders to incubate reusable architectures and offerings that accelerate AI adoption and deployment.
Delivery Excellence & Capability Development
- Provide executive oversight and technical guidance for major AI infrastructure programs, maintaining accountability for client outcomes, delivery quality, and financial performance.
- Guide teams through architecture decisions, environment modernization, operating model transitions, and operational readiness.
- Help resolve complex technical and delivery challenges affecting the security, performance, and reliability of AI environments.
- Build and mentor multidisciplinary teams across infrastructure engineering, AI/ML, cloud architecture, and solution development.
- Advance repeatable delivery approaches and workforce capabilities that support growth across the practice.
Thought Leadership & Executive Engagement
- Serve as a visible AFS leader on AI infrastructure, accelerated computing, and secure mission AI.
- Advise senior government and industry executives on the investments and operating changes required to move AI from experimentation into production.
- Contribute to executive roundtables, industry events, and thought leadership on responsible, scalable AI adoption.
Here’s What You Need:
