About the Opportunity:

The AI/LLM DEVELOPER role entails supporting the design, development, and deployment of AI and large language model (LLM) applications. This position is responsible for advancing AI capabilities from initial concept through operational integration, contributing directly to the organization's AI initiatives and ensuring the maturity and effectiveness of AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI use cases, define requirements, and set measurable success criteria
• Develop and implement solutions using large language models, generative AI, and related technologies
• Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AI-enabled applications
• Work with technical and functional teams to incorporate user feedback and transition pilots into operational capabilities
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience developing AI- and LLM-enabled applications
• Strong software engineering and application development background
• Experience supporting solution design, testing, deployment, and integration
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with technical and functional stakeholders
• Meet security eligibilities
• TSA experience is highly desired
• DHS public trust is strongly preferred and will be prioritized
• Preferred skills include Python, AWS serverless architectures, Amazon Bedrock, prompt engineering, model evaluation, API development and integration, production-ready AI application development, and use of AI-enabled development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The pay range for this role is estimated between $121,000 and $149,000 annually, with final compensation determined by factors including location, skills, experience, education, certifications, contract requirements, and organizational needs.
