Role Description The AIC (Agent in Charge) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based at the Lombard, IL location. This role oversees daily dispensary operations, including supervising staff, managing opening and closing procedures, and ensuring accurate cash handling and inventory control. The AIC maintains compliance with all applicable cannabis regulations, monitors ID verification processes, and ensures that company policies are followed. Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching team members, resolving customer concerns, coordinating schedules, and communicating operational updates to management. The AIC also helps maintain a clean, safe store environment and supports sales goals by promoting consistent, professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Operational leadership skills in retail or similar environments, including staff supervision, scheduling, and delegation.
• Experience with cash handling, point-of-sale systems, and basic inventory control procedures.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, preferably in the cannabis industry or other highly regulated sectors.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle questions, feedback, and conflict professionally.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow and enforce policies and procedures consistently.
• Ability to work on-site in Lombard, IL, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, documentation) and comfort learning new software tools.
• Prior experience in cannabis retail, pharmacy, or specialty retail is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business, management, or related fields is a plus.
