Job Title: Senior Cloud Application Engineer – AWS Amplify

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Application Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in AWS Amplify to design, develop, integrate, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience with AWS Amplify, serverless application development, cloud backend integrations, and modern application architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS Amplify (Gen 1/Gen 2).
• Build and manage application backends using Amplify CLI, Amplify Data, Auth, Storage, and Hosting.
• Develop and integrate serverless services using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, AppSync, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Implement authentication, authorization, API integrations, and cloud-based data management.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and GraphQL integrations.
• Build application interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Configure Amplify Hosting, CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and cloud deployments.
• Troubleshoot application performance, backend integrations, security, and cloud infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available cloud applications.

Required Technical Skills:

• AWS Amplify – Strong hands-on development and implementation experience (Mandatory).
• Amplify Gen 2, Amplify CLI, Amplify Backend, Auth, Data, Storage, and Hosting.
• Strong expertise in AWS Lambda, Amazon Cognito, AppSync, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of GraphQL, REST APIs, and serverless architecture.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, cloud deployments, and application integration.
• Understanding of cloud security, scalability, and application performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing enterprise-scale applications using AWS Amplify.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud-native architecture and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Amazon Q.
