Overview

Delta System & Software, Inc. is seeking a diligent Ariba QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Ariba applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using testing and defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand application requirements and design test strategies.
• Perform regression testing to validate system functionality after changes and enhancements.
• Participate in project meetings and provide quality assurance insights throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues and provide support for end-user queries related to Ariba functionality.
• Monitor and report on testing progress and results, ensuring timely communication of issues.
• Stay current with industry best practices for testing and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, focusing on testing IT applications, preferably Ariba.
• Proficiency in writing test plans, test cases, and automated scripts.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience with defect tracking systems, preferably JIRA or a similar tool.
• Familiarity with SQL for database testing and data validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
