FLAKEB00K is an independent art project exploring digital culture, satire, censorship, and creative freedom through collage, mixed media, printed artwork, art books, stickers, and merchandise. We are looking for someone who appreciates unconventional art and wants hands-on experience working directly with an evolving collection in a private studio env

* Art Archiving & Digitization: Scan, photograph, catalog, and digitally organize artwork, prints, photographs, and archival materials.

* Framing & Art Handling: Prepare artwork for framing, assist with mounting and presentation, and maintain an organized inventory.

* Collection Management: Sort, label, store, and document original artwork, prints, art books, and merchandise.

* Curation & Exhibitions: Assist with selecting artwork, developing themes, arranging displays, and preparing the studio for private viewings.

* Private Art Viewings: Help organize appointments for collectors and guests, prepare the space, present artwork, and assist with sales.

* Studio Organization: Maintain an orderly art workspace and help manage art supplies, framing materials, and storage.

* Merchandise Support: Assist with organizing and displaying stickers, apparel, art books, and other FLAKEB00K products.

* Creative Development: Contribute ideas for exhibitions, presentations, cataloging systems, and ways to introduce the collection to new audiences.

* Has a genuine interest in contemporary art, collage, underground culture, and independent artists.

* Is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling artwork.

* Has an interest in art curation, gallery operations, archiving, or art sales.

* Is comfortable using scanners, cameras, computers, and basic digital file-management tools.

* Can work independently while communicating clearly with the artist and studio team.

* Previous experience in an art studio, gallery, archive, or framing shop is a plus, but not required.

Location: FLAKEB00K art studio, Bushwick, Brooklyn

Schedule: Part-time; flexible hours to be discussed

Compensation: To be discussed based on experience and responsibilities.
