Asset Management Specialist

Title: Asset Management Anaylst

Duration: 6-12 month contract

Location: St. Paul, M (onsite)

We're looking for an Asset Management Analyst to support Hardware Asset Management (HAM) within a large enterprise IT environment. This individual will help manage the full lifecycle of computer assets, including inventory tracking, forecasting, reconciliation, reporting, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working across teams to improve processes, identify efficiencies, and drive automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage hardware asset inventory, lifecycle tracking, and reporting.
• Develop monthly and annual forecasts, including computer capital planning.
• Reconcile hardware inventory and stock consumption, resolving discrepancies with internal teams and vendors.
• Maintain asset management documentation, dashboards, and reporting metrics.
• Partner with IT teams to improve workflows and automate asset management processes.
• Support hardware disposal, audits, and end-of-life equipment replacements.
• Assist with Software Asset Management (SAM) activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of experience with IT asset lifecycle management, forecasting, reconciliation, or related processes.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with detailed inventory and financial data.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and identify process improvements.

Preferred Experience:

• Hardware Asset Management (HAM) or Software Asset Management (SAM).
• ServiceNow asset management, workflows, or service catalog.
• Experience working with IT vendors, sourcing, or deployment teams.

The projected hourly range for this position is $28 to $33.
