Job Description

Role Overview: The Assistant Store Manager supports daily store operations with a focus on customer satisfaction, merchandise presentation, and loss prevention.

Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service, operate cash registers, assist with opening and closing the store, and help manage employee scheduling and training.
Assist in merchandise management, including receiving, stocking, rotating, and building displays to ensure proper presentation.
Maintain accurate inventory levels by controlling damages, markdowns, and paperwork, following company procedures.
Support the implementation of planograms and ensure merchandise displays align with established standards.
Oversee financial procedures by managing cashier accountability, cash control, and deposits, and authorizing refunds and overrides.
Help manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring safety, security, and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications & Skills: Ability to lead customer service initiatives, manage merchandise, and support store functions with attention to detail and adherence to policies. Strong organizational, supervisory, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
