Overview

As an AWS DevOps Engineer at PETADATA, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining a robust cloud infrastructure that supports our development and operational goals. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure in AWS environment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated testing and deployment of applications.
• Monitor system performance and optimize resources for high availability and fault tolerance.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to ensure smooth production releases.
• Manage security and compliance requirements for cloud operations, including identity and access management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
• Document processes and system configurations for knowledge sharing and training purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.) and hands-on experience with related technologies.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and logging/monitoring.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
• Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Technologies & Tools

In this role, you will utilize a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS services (such as EC2, S3, and RDS), continuous integration and deployment tools (like Jenkins or GitLab CI), configuration management systems (such as Ansible or Terraform), version control systems (preferably Git), and monitoring tools (such as Nagios or CloudWatch) to ensure our applications are running optimally.
