Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to establish best practices for DevOps processes.
• Manage system security by implementing protocols and monitoring compliance.
• Contribute to incident response and troubleshooting activities to resolve operational issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience working with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of networking and security practices in cloud environments.

Technologies & Tools

The AWS DevOps Engineer will work with a variety of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, AWS (Amazon EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda), Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, Git, and monitoring solutions such as Prometheus or CloudWatch. Familiarity with serverless architecture and microservices will also be advantageous in enhancing our deployments and application strategy.
