Job Overview

Zenith Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of the AWS DevOps Engineer will be to enhance and maintain our cloud infrastructure, leveraging AWS tools and practices to optimize development, deployment, and operational processes. This role will encompass the automation of workflows, continuous integration and delivery, as well as promoting a culture of collaboration between software development and IT operations to increase productivity and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure they follow CI/CD best practices.
• Monitor application performance and system health using appropriate monitoring tools.
• Implement and maintain security practices and policies across cloud systems.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of application and infrastructure issues.
• Participate in setting and maintaining best practices for DevOps processes.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members during deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience working in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Understanding of network fundamentals, including DNS, firewalls, and VPNs.
• DevOps certification (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar) is a plus.
