Overview

Amtex Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled AWS Platform Architect to lead our cloud infrastructure initiatives. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure AWS cloud architectures.
• Evaluate existing cloud infrastructures and recommend optimizations for performance and cost.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper integration of applications and services in the AWS environment.
• Establish and enforce governance policies around AWS usage and cloud security standards.
• Monitor cloud performance metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Lead cloud migration projects and assist teams in moving applications to the AWS platform.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, specifically with AWS.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance protocols in cloud environments.
• AWS certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) preferred.
