Job Overview

The Azure DevOps Engineer at BTC - Business Technology Consulting AG will play a pivotal role in optimizing and automating our software deployment processes. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and secure Azure DevOps solutions.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance deployment processes.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related tools.
• Monitor and optimize build processes and application performance.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated resource provisioning.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance in all DevOps activities.
• Provide support and guidance in troubleshooting deployment issues.
• Develop documentation and provide training for team members on Azure DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Azure DevOps or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with Azure Services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Resource Manager.
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Technologies & Tools

The Azure DevOps Engineer will utilize a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to Azure DevOps Services, Azure Boards, Azure Repos, Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Azure Container Instances, Docker, Kubernetes, and various monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
