Azure DevOps Engineer

IDR is seeking a Azure Dev Ops Engineer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. In this role, you’ll help modernize and strengthen a cloud-based platform by improving DevOps practices, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD automation. You’ll partner closely with engineering and operations stakeholders to increase deployment reliability, scalability, and observability in a production Microsoft Azure environment.

Position Overview for the Azure Dev Ops Engineer:

• Serve as a hands-on DevOps subject matter expert supporting a production Microsoft Azure environment
• Design, improve, and standardize DevOps processes and best practices (beyond day-to-day deployments)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps using YAML and automation-first approaches
• Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) with Terraform for Azure resources
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud infrastructure, deployments, monitoring, and performance

Requirements for the Azure Dev Ops Engineer:

• Strong hands-on experience supporting production environments in Microsoft Azure
• Proven experience using Terraform to build and manage Azure infrastructure (infrastructure-as-code)
• Experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including YAML-based pipelines
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and improve DevOps processes, implementing best practices and architectural recommendations
• Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud deployments and platform reliability, with excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration
