Overview

Rushdown Studios is seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to enhance our development and deployment processes. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing DevOps practices to streamline our software development lifecycle, ensuring continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve deployment efficiency, automate system updates, and maintain high availability of applications, all while advocating best practices in cloud infrastructure and operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure Azure cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate version control systems and streamline workflows.
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager.
• Automate systems administration tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist with incident management and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application issues.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role, specifically with Azure.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD methodologies.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with source control management tools like Git.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices.
• Certification in Azure or relevant fields is a plus.

Technologies & Tools
