Job Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer/Architect to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Azure infrastructures, while also streamlining development workflows through automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. This role will require collaboration with various teams to ensure efficient and seamless project deliveries, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and optimize existing systems for better performance and reliability.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure DevOps solutions to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps tools to automate and enhance software delivery procedures.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and integration.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud service performance, and optimize application and system configurations.
• Implement infrastructure as code practices using tools such as Terraform and ARM templates.
• Ensure security best practices are adhered to within Azure environments.
• Provide guidance and support for DevOps tools and methodologies across various projects.
• Document architecture designs, procedures, and best practices for reference and training purposes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering or cloud architecture roles.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab for pipeline management.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

In this role, candidates will be expected to work extensively with Microsoft Azure platforms and tools, including Azure DevOps Services, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), among others.
