Azure/Terraform Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Azure/Terraform Engineer to build secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and lead application migrations from GCP to Azure for a leading healthcare organization. The role focuses on developing reusable Terraform modules, implementing Azure landing zones, configuring Application Gateway and WAF v2, and managing production cutovers and cloud decommissioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for Azure infrastructure, including AKS, networking, Key Vault, storage, and databases.
• Lead GCP-to-Azure application and infrastructure migrations, including production cutovers.
• Configure Azure Application Gateway, WAF v2, and AKS ingress using AGIC.
• Implement least-privilege RBAC, troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues, and support security remediation.
• Refactor existing Terraform infrastructure safely and maintain infrastructure-as-code best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure-as-code experience, including 3+ years with Terraform module development and state management.
• 3+ years of hands-on Azure experience with AKS, networking, Key Vault, ACR, storage, databases, and identity services.
• 2+ years configuring Azure Application Gateway, WAF v2, and AGIC.
• Direct, hands-on experience migrating applications and infrastructure from GCP to Azure.
• Strong understanding of Azure security, RBAC, networking, and Terraform infrastructure refactoring.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GCP services, including GKE, Cloud Armor, and load balancing.
• Familiarity with enterprise Terraform module libraries, Venafi/PKI, Prisma Cloud, and NextGen Networks.
