About The Role

Join a team focused on making customers’ security-relevant data continuously available for automated detection and response, threat hunting, and other Falcon use cases. This role contributes to the systems and services that help security teams access timely, reliable data and act on potential threats. Working in a high-scale environment, you will partner with colleagues across engineering and product teams to improve the availability, performance, and resilience of data-driven security capabilities.

The work calls for curiosity, sound technical judgment, and a strong sense of ownership. You will help address complex challenges involving distributed systems and evolving data demands, while keeping customer needs at the center of technical decisions. You will also contribute to a culture of responsible experimentation and continuous learning, including the thoughtful use of AI where it can improve the quality and efficiency of your work.

Qualifications

Successful candidates bring experience building, operating, or improving software systems, with an interest in reliable services and data-intensive workloads. You should be comfortable investigating technical problems, understanding trade-offs, and communicating your reasoning to teammates. Experience with distributed systems, data processing, cloud-based services, or security products can be valuable, as can familiarity with software development practices such as code review, testing, monitoring, and iterative delivery.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, development, and ongoing improvement of services that make security-relevant data available to Falcon capabilities. Help build systems that can support high volumes of events while meeting expectations for reliability, performance, and operational readiness. Investigate issues, identify root causes, and work with teammates to deliver practical, durable solutions.

Collaborate with engineering, product, and other partners to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical approaches. Participate in design discussions, testing, code reviews, and service operations. Monitor system behavior, share findings, and help identify opportunities to improve scalability and resilience. Apply responsible AI practices to support research, development, and problem-solving while protecting the quality and integrity of outcomes.
