Role Description The Bookkeeper role at North Park Tax Service is a part-time, on-site position based in the Greater Rockford Area. The Bookkeeper will manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, posting journal entries, and maintaining accurate ledgers for client accounts. Responsibilities include preparing and updating financial statements, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and ensuring that records are organized for tax preparation and reporting. The role also involves using accounting software to input data, generate reports, and support the tax team with timely and accurate financial information. The Bookkeeper will interact with clients and internal team members to clarify financial details and help ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
