Position Summary

The Cafeteria Cashier works under close supervision, operates a cash register or cash drawer. Performs a variety of routine duties involving receipt of cash payments.

Education/Experience

A high school level of educational development and less than six months of previous experience.

Knowledge/Skills

• Work requires the analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations in which the information or problems are relatively routine.
• Work requires the ability to understand and respond to simple written or verbal instructions. Incumbents must respond appropriately to instruction, questions or requests for information. Work occasionally requires contact with patients and/or visitors which involves courtesy.

Salary Range: Minimum 17.03/hour - Maximum 17.03/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
