Role Description The Caregiver is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chicago Area, providing direct, hands-on support to clients in their homes or residential facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as well as helping with mobility, transfers, and light exercise. The Caregiver will support daily living activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and errands. The role also involves offering companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities, monitoring changes in their condition, and promptly reporting concerns to supervisors or family members. Caregivers are expected to follow care plans, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold safety, privacy, and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide safe, respectful personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients and families.
• Reliability, time management, and attention to detail in following care plans and documenting services.
• Capacity to handle physical aspects of the role, including lifting, transfers, and extended periods of standing or walking.
• Basic knowledge of health, safety, and infection-control practices in home or residential care settings.
• Experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or in a similar direct care role is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant caregiving certifications (such as CNA or HHA) are a plus.
• Ability to pass background checks and any required screenings, and willingness to attend ongoing training.
