Typically does: Handles customer transactions, processing payments via cash, credit, and debit cards. Provides excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues. Maintains a clean and organized workspace, restocking supplies as needed. Balances the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
Tools and skills: Point of sale (POS) systems, cash handling, basic math skills, and strong communication abilities are generally required.
