Job description:

Chief Freightlines is looking for an experienced Intrastate O\O CDL-A driver for flatbed Steel Routes! Lanes below are currently offered. Driver may take two loads per day, No backhauls on either lane.

Lanes:

Cleveland, OH to Delta, OH-Pay around $650 per load\2 loads available daily-no backhaul

Cleveland, OH to Mansfield, OH-Pay around $450 daily\2 loads available daily-no backhaul

O/Os 75% + FSC; Company drivers 28%

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safely transport steel products from Frostproof, FL through Central Florida

Properly secure flatbed loads using chains, straps, binders, tarps, and other securement equipment as required

Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer

Ensure all cargo securement meets DOT and company standards

Maintain accurate logs and transportation paperwork

Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and shipping/receiving personnel

Operate equipment safely and efficiently in all weather and traffic conditions

Report maintenance or equipment issues promptly

Deliver freight on time while maintaining a strong safety record

Follow all FMCSA, DOT, and company policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

Class A CDL

2 years of verifiable driving experience

6 months verifiable flatbed experience

Clean MVR and PSP
