Job Description

Role Summary: Safely deliver building materials to contractor job sites within a local service radius. This position involves driving, loading/unloading, and coordinating delivery details to ensure materials arrive correctly and are properly placed.

Key Responsibilities

Transport materials safely and efficiently to job sites.
Inspect vehicles and maintain safe operating practices.
Verify inventory accuracy, secure loads, and manage materials in transit.
Coordinate material placement with customers upon arrival.
Document deliveries and complete required delivery paperwork.
Support yard operations, including receiving, loading, and inventory handling.
Load and unload materials, including operating forklifts.
Work effectively in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong commitment to safety and secure handling of materials.
Ability to operate forklifts and perform physical loading/unloading tasks.
Detail-oriented with reliable inventory verification and documentation skills.
Good customer coordination and communication abilities.
Comfort working outdoors and adapting to changing conditions.
