Claims Specialist (Excess Casualty)

We’ve partnered with an A+ rated insurance carrier that’s been delivering results for over 30 years. They are seeking a Chief Claim Specialist to manage a high-severity caseload involving Excess/Umbrella and Complex Liability claims.

About the Role:

In this high-impact position, you will handle major case claims across various lines including:

• Product liability
• Transportation
• Premises liability
• Environmental and chemical exposure
• Construction defect
• Other complex coverage matters

You’ll drive results through thoughtful litigation strategy, policy analysis, and resolution of large, high-stakes claims.

Ideal Background:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) required
• Experience in litigation management, complex liability and/or coverage analysis
• Ability to interpret policies, identify coverage issues, and navigate state statutes and regulatory frameworks
• Strong negotiation and settlement skills

We’re open to individuals:

• Currently in private practice looking to transition in-house, OR
• Already in-house at a carrier, ready for a more strategic role
