Job Responsibilities

• Lead the Cloud Automation team, providing strategic direction and oversight of operational practices.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Manage cloud infrastructure to ensure it meets the needs of business operations and scalability requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-function teams to align automation strategies with business objectives.
• Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas of improvement in automation processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations regarding security and data management.
• Develop training programs to enhance team capabilities in cloud technologies and automation tools.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies related to cloud automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud automation, DevOps, or related fields.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and achieving operational excellence.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, or similar technologies.
• Excellent project management skills; familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Technologies & Tools

The Cloud Automation Operations Director will work with a variety of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, cloud platforms like Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes, as well as CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab. Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana for performance tracking, as well as configuration management tools will also be advantageous in this role.
