The Cloud Director of Automation Operations at Get.It Recruit will oversee the automation portfolio for our cloud environments, driving the implementation and enhancement of DevOps processes. Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of automation frameworks across cloud infrastructure.
• Develop strategies for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate automation processes within software development lifecycles.
• Monitor and enhance existing automation processes to reduce cycle times and increase reliability.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members in best practices for automation and DevOps.
• Manage operational incidents and implement process improvements to minimize disruptions.
• Communicate progress and challenges to executive leadership and stakeholders regularly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Operations.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Technologies & Tools

The Cloud Director of Automation Operations will be expected to utilize a range of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, Ansible for configuration management, Docker for containerization, and Kubernetes for orchestration. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI, as well as monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus or ELK stack, will also be advantageous in this role.
