Cloud Enginee - (Remote, Entry-Level)

Role Description This is a part-time, remote Cloud Engineer (Entry-Level) role. The Cloud Engineer will assist in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day tasks include supporting basic cloud configuration, helping manage Linux-based systems, and performing routine checks on application performance and availability. The role also involves working with databases, documenting technical processes, and collaborating with software developers and other stakeholders to ensure stable and secure environments. The position is designed for early-career professionals interested in building foundational skills in cloud engineering.

Qualifications

• Foundational skills in Cloud Computing and Infrastructure, with an interest in learning cloud architecture and services.
• Basic understanding of Linux systems administration and command-line tools.
• Introductory knowledge of Databases, including basic queries and data management concepts.
• Exposure to Software Development practices, such as version control, scripting, or working with APIs.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to follow established procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage time, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
• Relevant coursework, certifications (e.g., cloud provider fundamentals), or internships in IT or related fields are beneficial.
