Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions in accordance with industry best practices.
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of services.
• Develop automation scripts for cloud deployment and orchestration to streamline operations.
• Implement robust security measures for cloud environments to protect data and resources.
• Collaborate with software developers and IT teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing applications and development pipelines.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud services and applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related roles.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing architectures, networking, and security protocols.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.

The Cloud Engineer will work with a diverse set of technologies and tools, including, but not limited to, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and various monitoring and security solutions. Familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies will be essential for this role, as it underpins the efficient deployment and management of cloud applications.
