Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions to support application development and deployment.
• Implement cloud-based architectures and strategies aligned with business goals and technical requirements.
• Monitor cloud systems performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resources for efficiency.
• Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Provide technical guidance and support for cloud-related queries and configurations.
• Document cloud architecture, processes, and best practices for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with expertise in at least one major cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture principles, including microservices and serverless computing.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Technologies & Tools

The Cloud Engineer will work with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins or GitLab), and monitoring systems like Prometheus and Grafana.
