Hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help design, build, maintain, and support cloud and hybrid cloud environments. This role focuses on cloud infrastructure, virtualization, system administration, security, automation, and performance monitoring across platforms such as GCP, Azure Local, and VMware.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues, improve system reliability, strengthen security, and support a 24/7/365 operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate, and maintain cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms and operating systems.
• Assist with the design and architecture of GCP, Azure Local, and other hybrid cloud solutions.
• Help develop IT and business processes that support cloud deployments.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate escalations with other teams.
• Contribute to cloud security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Implement system monitoring and management tools for cloud infrastructure.
• Define and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer-facing service metrics.
• Analyze system outages and identify ways to prevent recurring incidents.

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud platforms, particularly Azure Local and VMware, including vCenter, vCloud Director, and vSphere 7 and 8.
• Experience in Linux and/or Windows system administration and engineering, specifically RHEL 9 and Windows Server.
• Experience with Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
• Scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby, or PHP.
• Understanding of firewalls, Network Address Translation (NAT), and packet filtering, specifically iptables.
• Experience with application load balancing for scalability and high availability.
• Foundational networking knowledge, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, TCP/IP, and SNMP.
• Ability and flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation supporting a 24/7/365 operation.

Preferred Qualifications

• GCP platform certifications are a plus.
