Overview

Chelsoft Solutions Co. is seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer specializing in Python, AWS, and DevOps methodologies to join our remote team on a W2 basis. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions that meet our operational needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud infrastructure, automate deployment pipelines, and enhance system performance, while ensuring compliance with best practices and security protocols.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Automate deployment and monitoring processes to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to facilitate frequent and reliable software updates.
• Collaborate with development teams to define and implement cloud architecture standards and best practices.
• Monitor cloud performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
• Ensure security compliance and implement best practices in cloud environments.
• Document cloud architecture, processes, and standards for future reference.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, with a focus on AWS.
• Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with frameworks such as Flask or Django.
• Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
