Job Overview

As a Cloud Security Engineer at IT & EBusiness Consulting Services, Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based infrastructure, primarily utilizing AWS and Terraform. Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architecture for AWS environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate security provisioning and manage security controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
• Monitor cloud environments for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
• Provide ongoing training and awareness programs for internal teams on cloud security best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to continually improve cloud security measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security, specifically with AWS.
• Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including access management and encryption technologies.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar are preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Technologies & Tools

In this role, you will work with a variety of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Terraform for IaC, AWS Lambda, CloudFormation, various SIEM tools for threat monitoring, IAM policies, and configuration management tools. Familiarity with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker may also be beneficial.
