Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Manage and optimize cloud resources to ensure high availability and performance.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for cloud provisioning, monitoring, and security compliance.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to define and implement best practices for cloud architecture.
• Perform regular system assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related incidents in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud systems engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and services.
• Strong understanding of network concepts, security best practices, and system architecture.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Technologies & Tools

The Cloud Systems Engineer will regularly utilize a variety of technologies and tools including but not limited to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and various monitoring and logging solutions such as CloudWatch and Prometheus. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Bash is also beneficial for automation tasks.
