About the Opportunity:

The CLOUD SYSTEMS ENGINEER role is centered on the engineering, design, integration, and technical development of cloud-based services and solutions. This position is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of scalable and reliable cloud environments. The role has a direct impact on maintaining the operational efficiency and sustainability of the organization's cloud systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer cloud-based services, systems, and infrastructure to meet mission and technical needs.
• Maintain stability and sustainability of cloud networks and software systems to support scaling and reliable operations.
• Develop and evaluate cloud architectures, interfaces, and solutions spanning hardware, software, networks, virtual environments, and cloud services.
• Perform system integration, verification, validation, and supportability analyses.
• Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition for hardware and software.
• Create engineering tools to monitor and manage the health of distributed cloud systems and virtual machines.
• Use trends, metrics, and performance data to identify improvements to frameworks, tools, processes, and cloud services.
• Own and resolve issues related to system functionality, performance, configuration, and integration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or Associate's degree with 6 years; or High School diploma/GED with 8 years.
• IAT Level II certification.
• One or more cloud certifications.
• Active Secret clearance.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Base Salary: $135,000 to $150,000
