Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Trainer / Content Developer to support the implementation of the NC FAST Child Welfare Information System (CWIS).

The ideal candidate will have experience in instructional design, adult learning, eLearning development, and facilitating classroom and virtual training.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver instructor-led and eLearning training programs.
• Create engaging instructional materials, simulations, and interactive courses.
• Develop and maintain Adobe FrameMaker templates, scripts, and training documentation.
• Collaborate with business analysts, Agile teams, developers, and subject matter experts.
• Facilitate classroom, virtual, and webinar-based training.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and update learning materials.
• Coordinate training schedules, registration, and classroom logistics.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of curriculum design and adult learning experience.
• 3+ years of instructional design and computer-based training development.
• Experience with Adobe FrameMaker, Captivate, Camtasia, Photoshop, Visio, or similar tools.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Moodle, XML, or HTML.
• Experience developing interactive training content and simulations.
• Experience delivering classroom and virtual training.
• Strong MS Office, business analysis, and communication skills.
• Understanding of social services programs and government operations.

Highly Preferred

• Experience with NC FAST case management software.
• Knowledge of North Carolina Medicaid and Child Welfare programs.
• Previous experience supporting state government training initiatives.
