About the Role

iPullRank is seeking an experienced Content Writer to create and optimize digital content for a range of clients. The role covers a variety of formats, including content optimization briefs, full-length articles, video scripts, and infographic copy. You will work with editors, writers, and the content project manager in a fast-paced, collaborative remote environment.

The ideal candidate can create content that performs well across search engines, answer engines, and AI-driven discovery while maintaining strong writing standards and providing real value to readers. The role also involves working with human-in-the-loop AI content workflows and adapting writing practices as the technology evolves.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a variety of text-based digital content for client projects.
• Optimize existing content to improve relevance and authority.
• Research topics and develop content briefs for new content creation.
• Write content across different formats, including articles, video scripts, and infographic text.
• Collaborate with editors, writers, and the content project manager to deliver work on time.
• Contribute to editorial guidelines and playbooks for client engagements.
• Research content-related trends to inform points of view, blog posts, and weekly team meetings.
• Apply SEO best practices, including hands-on keyword research, to support content performance.
• Incorporate human review and editorial judgment into AI-assisted content creation workflows.
• Stay informed about developments in SEO, answer engine optimization (AEO/AIO), and AI-driven content discovery.

Required Qualifications

• Five to seven years of hands-on digital writing experience.
• Reporting experience and knowledge of fact-checking best practices.
• Experience with human-in-the-loop content creation processes and a willingness to adapt as technology advances.
• Practical SEO experience, from keyword research to current industry best practices.
• Understanding of the evolving field of AIO and interest in keeping up with industry developments.
• Strong attention to detail, grammar, and writing quality.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to write clear, engaging content across different subjects and formats.
• Versatility in adapting storytelling techniques for long-form features, short-form news items, and detailed e-books.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff and freelancers in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing about technology and/or finance is preferred but not required.

Location and Work Arrangement

• Full-time, remote position.
• Candidates must be based in the United States.
• Must be available to work East Coast hours, with meetings scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
• Reports to the VP of Content.
• This position has no direct reports.

Salary and Benefits

• Annual salary range of $70,000–$79,000.
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance fully covered.
