Job Description

Role Overview: Support the efficient operation of automated equipment in a distribution center, diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting automated systems, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and water treatment components.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC ladder logic, and load or configure PLCs and HMIs.
Perform testing, repair, and replacement of electrical systems up to 600 volts, including motors, drives, sensors, and controllers.
Conduct preventative maintenance, oversee equipment upgrades, and manage spare parts inventory.
Utilize computer hardware and software, including MS Office and specialized MHE software, for system setup and diagnostics.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
Diagnose system errors, perform routine maintenance, and support continuous warehouse productivity.

Qualifications & Skills

High School Diploma or GED; technical training or relevant experience preferred.
1-2 years of related experience, with a strong electrical background preferred.
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC programming.
Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation testing.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work extended hours as needed and multi-trade skills at a semi-skilled level.
