Posting Summary
Leads, oversees, and trains a small group of custodians in the performance of routine custodial duties and basic maintenance and repair of related University facilities and equipment. May assume responsibility for a building, a group of buildings, or a campus sector. May assume responsibility for maintaining inventories, work orders and other written forms. Performs all duties of a Custodian as required.
FLSA Nonexempt Grade 12 Salary Details Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, within university policy and salary schedules, as well as departmental budgets. Minimum Salary 38652.310 Mid Range Salary 45294.200 Maximum Salary 52100.140 Offer Information
The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
Requires two years experience in custodial work. Also requires a valid driver’s license, two years driving experience, and the successful completion of the Rutgers Defensive Driving Course.
Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred Qualifications Equipment Utilized Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and read, write and speak English.
