Custome Service & Sales Representativ – REMOTE

Role Description This part-time remote role as a Customer Service & Sales Representative at JE Metallurgical focuses on supporting customers and driving sales within the company’s metallurgical products and services portfolio. On a day-to-day basis, the representative responds to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, providing accurate information on products, pricing, and order status. The role includes processing orders, preparing basic quotes, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution. The representative also identifies sales opportunities, follows up on leads, and maintains customer records in CRM or related systems. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with invoicing questions, tracking payments, and providing feedback to management on customer trends and market needs.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and build long-term client relationships.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills, including lead follow-up, upselling or cross-selling, and basic negotiation abilities.
• Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret customer data, identify patterns, and support informed business and sales decisions.
• Candidates should possess basic Finance knowledge to support pricing discussions, understand invoices, and assist with payment-related questions.
• Relevant qualifications include prior experience in customer service or inside sales, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing, or technical environment.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with CRM systems and office productivity tools, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
